Navigating the Seas Before the Storm: What you need to know about seafood related hazards at retail

Allergen ALERT: Some of the exercises of this course require the handling of fish and fishery products or packaging. Individuals with an allergy or severe sensitivity to fin fish, crustacean shellfish or molluscan shellfish should be aware that these products will be handled during the course exercises.

Food Handlers Training-Cancelled

ServSafe® Food Handler Course Customized for the Cannabis Industry

The ServSafe® 6th Edition Food Handler Course and Assessment is a comprehensive food safety training tailored to employees in the food industry. This course will cover these key areas of food safety:

  • Basic Food Safety
  • Personal Hygiene
  • Cross-Contamination & Allergens
  • Time and Temperature
  • Cleaning and Sanitation
  • Foodborne Illness
  • Emergency Procedures

We will also review how these key food safety concepts can be applied to concentrate and edibles production in the marijuana and industrial hemp industry. The in-class training will be followed by a course assessment. Students will obtain their ServSafe® Food Handler Certificate of Achievement.
